On Customer Service,,,
Today i had a family outing at bugis junction..went to samuel and kevin to shop for new yr clothes...(kinda early huh?...wander wat got into my mom)...anyway..was impressed by the service there..especially this particular salesgirl..thing her name was Celes..kept smiling and was very patient..despite the fussy attitude of my mom..reminds me of the tmie when i was working in sakae...having to keep yp tt smile splattered over my face all the time even when u feel jus like kiling tt particular customer who keeps giving you problems..while there are many ways service can be done while on the part of the service crew...u can make ur entire shopping or eating experience by doing some things on your part too!!..
1) Smile...keep Smiling..tt's right...n keep it sincere..service crew generally like customers who are friendly..and the more friedly u are..the more wiling they would want to help u..
2) Say ur "Please" and "Thanks"..it makes them feel appreciated..
3) be understanding..they're only human..there's only so much they can do..
4) When making orders, make sure u confirm all ur orders before allowing them to leave...this is to make sure that there will be no confusion when no orders are being made...any such confusion can bring about frustration to all parties involved..
5) Relax if it takes longer then usual if ur food takes a while to arrive..when orders are being processed..the chefs will usually handle items or similar items that are greater in quantity first before the others..if it takes too long..simply request firmly on whether ur orderis ready..and make sure tt they ans for it..if all else fails..ask for the manager..he or she is usually the one who is greatest power in the restaurent and can help u pressure the kitchen to hurry up..your regular service crew will probably jus get scolded..lol..
the 5 golden rules..for me at least..all these are jus based on my experience as part of a service crew and oh...nv ever ever try to help them by putting or removing things from their tray..they need to maintain their balance..any sudden addition or removal of weight may make them topple the tray...

He ran. He panted heavily, his slingbag banging painfully into his side.
He ran. Every step sending a spray of mud into his shoes.
He ran. The mist hugged the ground dearly, like a mother holding her dear child.
He ran. The road stretched on forever, no end in sight. Impossibly tall hedges flanked the road, running as far as the road went, running as far as he would run.
He ran.
A grey rock sat menacingly, hidden in the mud. He tripped, fell head over heels, heels over head, before landing onto the ground. His once pearly white shirt and pearly white teeth were now drenched in mud. He pulled himself off the pathway and set on the grass, leaning onto the hedge, and started to weep. He weeped not for the pain that now stung his leg, but tha pain of losing the one person who was always there for him in the past, stolen away in the present, and for as far as he could see, there was no future. The ever thickening mist did not help much either. He rested his head between his knees, trying to keep out the coldness of void away. Weak and futile.
A grey arm stretched out from the hedge and rested on his sholder. Gentily, like a bird pearching on a branch, yet firm, like the talons of the bird. He felt comforted, that he was not alone, no longer alone. he rested his head on the back of the hand, breathing gently onto it. It was then he jolted. He jumped, look back, just to see in time as the hand shrank away into the hedge, a titanium ring on the ring finger.

promos are over...time to bring down the house...lol...
okok....time to update...ytd and today...fun days...
yesterday we, the trackists, met up at the dohby ghaut mrt station..when to the er...oh right..pizza hut for luch..everyone was there except weijian...family stuff...kaidi was woke up onli an hour before we erach pizza hut and nic was out there...somewhere...thereafter..we went to the catch the movie "you me and dupree".interesting...the 7 kinds of smoke...i shan't spoil it here...go catch it urself..:P...after tt was pool for the guys and bowling for the girls...pool was a spoiler man..bad cues..lousy tables..high rate..suck///...then dinner at the cafe cartel..okok...here comes the very very very intersting part..
as the dinner was going on..another class outing...my class was taking place...er...class guys outing towards the end anyway..so we temporily abandoned the trackists and joined the guys...got hoe han, weijian n nic tan...at the carl's junior...darn funni...weijian saw this girl who he tot was very pretty and kept trying to find excuses to walk up and look at her...(her back was facing us)..chilli, drinks...u name it...wadever refills he could get, he would volunteer to get it..once she and her friend stood up to get drinks..seeing tt, he quickly finished his own and went to get more...no luck...she was on her way back when he reached...lol...later we challenged him..go get her number..and he replies "OK LA!!"...tt got us all psyched up...got show to watch liao...then they started to leave..went to the toilet...ya.we followed...for weijian's sake..by now he was near peeing in his pants...scared...lol...then when they finally exited weijian ran off...lol..then some went to catch him la...caught him he say "dun want dun want!!"...-.-...then we...esp han..said..we go get for u her no la"...then he say ok lo...but ask him follw also scared...tell him take out hishpone jus nice no batt...walao eh...then heck care liao...gave chase...followed bout 5 mins finally caught up..han went and managed to get her email..she was feeling so darn awkward and weijian was hiding in the toilet...funni...then got weijian out...his legs were shaking...god...he wasn't even the one who went up to her la....lol..now he owes everyone big time..
after this we gathered together again...then go play candles...lol...
