right..so it was down to this..either i couldn't shoot for nuts or my rifle is royally screwed..(which i really think is the case)..more on this later...

first and foremost..i think i've fallen in love with the vespa...i dunno how to explain it..but one of the instructors taking us owns a vespa..and when everyone first saw it..the reaction was a unanimous 'wow'...i think i was affected more than everyone else though, because the vespa felt like it was an entire class of it's own...i can't explain how it feels la...>.<

anyway...back to the rifle...i jus had my first experience firing with my current on wednesday...and i totally screwed it up..i could hit everywhere and everything else except the target...the instructor taking me was very nice though..he guided me through the long entire process of holding the weapon, breathing method and squeezing the trigger...and he wasn't bothered by the fact tt everyone in my detail had finished..things didn't get better though..until i used my fren's rifle...so final verdict..the rifle screwed up more than me.. the armoror screwed up more than us though..for one thing...the rifle itself was extremely dirty..the barrel was caked with carbon.......when consulted, the armoror simply replied, use a cloth dab a bit of oil and pull through..(something tt i have been doing for at least 3 hours but had no effect on the rifle)...the previous owner probably went trigger happy with lots of blanks and decided tt it was a good idea to not clean it...and whoever was on duty tt day probably decided it was not a good idea to check the rifle..end result..poor me...T.T

okok...enuf of the bad stuff...time for the light hearted moments...lets start with today...the sky was purple!!!..not really a big deal but it was a pretty amazing sight...and then someone decided to start sing 'purple light'...lol...

another funny moment...our csm called this one guy out to give feedback regarding the SOC and he decided to say tt issuing punishment would affect the results negatively...then our csm said,'when did i punish u?'..den he asked,'gentlemen, did i punish u all?' 'no staff'...the chosen one got stunned for a moment, not knowing how to reply, seeing tt everyone had chosen not to take his side..XD

gah...i can't really remember much at the moment now..i'll update again when i remember more..>.<...Ns really bad for memory....

alright, jus a quick summary of wad's happening to me right now...
i've enlisted into the naval diving unit on march 19 and am (hope it might be to the horror of some) i'm enjoying myself there..=X

i'm also missing a lot of ppl out there.too many to list, but ya, i do miss u guys..T.T...it's scary when in the middle of the night, u're in a place u did not choose to make ur home, and u suddenly feel a sense of loss so intense, and the only place u want to be is with ur frens..

today had been a great day, with its bizarre twists of events of course...
finally, i get to go out with the trackists...i missed u guys >.< (more for some reason unknown) during the past two weeks.. anyway.back to today...met juncheng and dianah at harborfront mac, thinking i was horribly late, only to find out i was the few earlier ones..=X..oso found out tt jc (cough..stupidly...cough) wrote in the wrong birthday card (writing the message for shurong into aunty's card -.-) and cancelled the message, disguising it with the picture of a trolley...as for me, i started out with problems crafting out a decent message cos 3 weeks in ns very much crippled me of my ability to string more than two words into an understandable sentence..(this entry is, therefore, more of a miraculous recovery XD)...

in any case, nic and huanshern soon showed up and finished writing their mesages while i was still struggling...then the two brthday girls showed up and we went off to meet abby to begin our crazy adventures at sentosa.. off the monorail, we walked our way to siloso beach, only to turn back and head out to palawan beach cos nic decided tt palawan was a lot nicer >.< (i seriously can't tell the diff doe, it's all sun, sand and sea to me)...we hopped on the tram, alighted at the station, walked off to palawan again..this was when the most bizarre,if not horrific turn of events happened..we were walking towards the beach, there was this coconut tree, a tricycle and two sentosa crew doing some stuff on the tree itself...some of us were walking towards 7-11, some of us moving towards the beach and some lagging behind (tt's me)..den aunty was suddenly attacked by a baboon, and it took a while for the crew to get tt creature off her..they called for the help and jc sprinted off to by plasters, while the rest of us tried to console her...she was in a state of shock though.. so she wasn't as responsive as she usually is...it took a while b4 the paras came...what was most irritating was tt the crew decided to cover up their own mistakes and make it sound like it was ours...they claimed tt (1) we got too close (2) they warned us (i doubt they even noticed we were there) (3) aunty was carrying food (she wasn't)..but ya..noone brought it up..who would want to risk an argument if ur fren was already injured...she went to the ops room of sentosa, was she was examined, then after tt, we were brought to harbourfront by the sentosa crew..went to hunt for the clinic, where aunty for disappeared for more than half an hour..fortunatly, she came out fine and was back to normal..brave young girl, she is... right after the entire episode, she insisted on coming along, and since her mom approved, we let her joined us as well..XD...

we wen down to banquet for lunch, made a fool of ourselves by being camera whores, then jus when we're bout to light up the birthday cakes, jc declared he did not bring a lighter..so i went hunting for it, only to come back with a lighter which was later left unused...my efforts didn't jus go down the drain though..i made the two birthday girls blow out the lighter instead..=P later, we went tdown to suntec to get my specs done, which was finished within two hours (so much for getting well equipped for live range) and during tt time, we hung at at waffles cottage (or isit the other way round?...nvm) and er...ate waffles..=X..after tt we walked ard abit more then the day was done... alright...this is tiring..i'm done writing for now...=P in any case, i'll try my best to motivate myself to carry on next week, so tt ppl can actually noe wad my life's like now..XD all you guys out there, please take care of yourselves.=)...

Today i had a family outing at bugis junction..went to samuel and kevin to shop for new yr clothes...(kinda early huh?...wander wat got into my mom)...anyway..was impressed by the service there..especially this particular salesgirl..thing her name was Celes..kept smiling and was very patient..despite the fussy attitude of my mom..reminds me of the tmie when i was working in sakae...having to keep yp tt smile splattered over my face all the time even when u feel jus like kiling tt particular customer who keeps giving you problems..while there are many ways service can be done while on the part of the service crew...u can make ur entire shopping or eating experience by doing some things on your part too!!..

1) Smile...keep Smiling..tt's right...n keep it sincere..service crew generally like customers who are friendly..and the more friedly u are..the more wiling they would want to help u..

2) Say ur "Please" and "Thanks"..it makes them feel appreciated..

3) be understanding..they're only human..there's only so much they can do..

4) When making orders, make sure u confirm all ur orders before allowing them to leave...this is to make sure that there will be no confusion when no orders are being made...any such confusion can bring about frustration to all parties involved..

5) Relax if it takes longer then usual if ur food takes a while to arrive..when orders are being processed..the chefs will usually handle items or similar items that are greater in quantity first before the others..if it takes too long..simply request firmly on whether ur orderis ready..and make sure tt they ans for it..if all else fails..ask for the manager..he or she is usually the one who is greatest power in the restaurent and can help u pressure the kitchen to hurry up..your regular service crew will probably jus get scolded..lol..

the 5 golden rules..for me at least..all these are jus based on my experience as part of a service crew and oh...nv ever ever try to help them by putting or removing things from their tray..they need to maintain their balance..any sudden addition or removal of weight may make them topple the tray...
